I wish they'd come in so I could throw them out.

China was blocking Blogspot again but now it's back so you get MOAR ARTS. YUSS.

Yvie's making me re-design my old Sonic chars as humans:

Stupid Fary-Como thing. So ugly but I am entertained by the idea that Como would steal a priceless work of art and then come home and eat all of Fary's icecream.

Kelsey is still scandalized by his wife and son's sailor mouths, even after spending 16 years in jail. THE BAD JAIL. This also amuses me to no end.

Style-test thing of Heck, Presley, and Belinda. Hojoy!

The King Brothers, being themselves.

Quick doodle of Veleno Leone, my mob assassin boy.

Wesson Fitzroy. He'll be going in the story with Heck and Presley.

These two aren't anything special, I'm just trying to teach myself to draw on the computer. FIRST THING I'VE EVER DRAWN 100% DIGITALLY. BE AMAAAZED.

And finally, fanart for Under Lock and Key, which launched this month and is COMPLETELY AWESOME AND OMFG GO READ RIGHT NOW. NOWWWW, DAMMIT.

情人节快乐,新年快乐!

LALALA. I've been sick so I've been artsyfartsy.

First up, happy belated V-day:

Kendrick wants you to be his Valentine. I bet that heart is still warm. That's how much he cares.

I'm working on a comic page with him and Dom, but I don't know if I'll finish.

That's the only panel I like so far.

Lyndz and Tessa drew him too!

MUSHY COUPLE-Y PICS.
V-day picture for Joker, of her and her currently-deployed-in-Iraq hubby, Jon.

For Yvie, my Daniel and her Hewitt, 'cos they're all adorabibble. And stuff.

Wyatt and Ethan, for Tessa. <3

From her and Sarah's upcoming webcomic, Under Lock & Key, which I am going to pimp the SHIT out of cos it's TOTALLY AWESOME. I'll let you know where to look once it launches. (PSST, super-seekrit dialogue version of this pic here.)

Half-naked Phoebe! Click it, you know you want to.

TIME FOR SOME SELF-INDULGENCE. Well, this is an artblog. It's inherently self-indulgent. Anyway, pretend you care.

These are some of the oldest characters I have that are still around. I've had them since I was 10 years old, and I love them so, so, so very much that I'm going to do a LONG RAMBLY DESCRIPTION about them. They're all "heroes" from my Axis story, which takes place in a sort of post-apocalyptic world where gigantic super-cities ruled by scientific corporations strive to "improve" mankind by taking individual people apart bit by bit.

Yes, I came up with this when I was ten.

Yes, I had issues.

From left to right (I apologize in advance for being a tremendous dork):

Xavier Fielty was essentially stolen from his family and given to Dr. Fischer when he was three years old. He actually used to be quite normal, but 13 years of continuous torture and experimentation made him irreparably insane. He was declared useless for further experiments when he was 16 as bits of his brain tissue actually began to decay, and committed to Greenpoint Asylum. He escaped and joined Sanctuary when he was 20. He’s as much of a liability as he is an asset—he barely feels pain and has seemingly limitless endurance and strength but his judgment is questionable and gets continually worse as the story progresses. He knows he’s going to die (and soon) from what Fischer did to him. He just wants to cause as much damage as possible before he goes.

James Marston is the son of one of Fischer’s business rivals. He was kidnapped as part of a sabotage plot, then tucked away and experimented on most horrifically for seven years or so, resulting in the pretty damned awful form he’s in nowadays. Oddly enough James’s personality was the only thing about him that didn’t change—he’s a shy, quiet, polite intellectual with an absolute horror of violence. He's actually one of the success stories from Axis Labs; his design is near-perfect, if incomplete. He's tougher than Xav and Donny combined. James is probably the only character in the story who isn't out for vengeance or power in one way or another. He mostly just wants to be left alone. He's a coward, but he'll ultimately stand up and do the right thing. It just takes a lot more prodding.

Donovan Silver is the main character of Axis, and Fischer’s adopted son and bodyguard. He and his younger sister Angela were rescued from the streets of Salin City and raised as Fischer’s children, though of course to Fischer even this was an experiment. Eventually the good doctor proved just how little he really cared about his “son” by sending him on a suicide mission. Donny survived and turned his back on Fischer and Axis, joining Sanctuary to get vengeance on his former father figure and get his sister back. Cliché, I know. But Donny’s actually quite the cheerful little sociopath. He’s a monster, he loves being a monster, and glories in the carnage he gets to cause free of Fischer’s restrictions, despite Jade’s attempts to instill some morality in Donny’s shrunken soul.

They're all monsters in one way or another; James is the only one I would consider genuinely "good." Xav is too crazy and Donny has no moral compass whatsoever. They're fighting the good fight, but for the wrong reasons, and I like that about them.

HERE, HAVE SOME LINEART.

ALSO I'M TOTALLY PIMPING THIS REALLY AWESOME DONNY PIC THAT SARAH DID FOR ME. IT'S SO COOL. OMG.

Okay I'm done. Where's my advil?

We Carry a Heavy Weight

Okay, here's another batch.

Couple pics of Como and Fary, everyone's favorite royal + shopboy:

I'd be remiss if I didn't squee about the incredible Como art that Tessa did for me here and here. Or the gorgeous Comofary arts done by Yvie here and here and here. I'm so damn loved.

Kyra gave her character Takoyaki muttonchops. So of course I had to draw him.

Donny and Xav, my monster boys, and some regular damn monsters:

Elliot and Colt, new characters for the RP:

I shamelessly stole Elliot's line from Quentin in Charlene's ORAR comic.

Johnny giving Kanti a headache:

Lane Bennett and her son, Dominic Bennett. Before her husband went to jail and Dom was nearly killed. Twice.

That's all for now. I really should get in the habit of updating more frequently.

(Pssht. Like anyone's looking at this thing anyway. I could dance naked here and it would cause nary a stir. XD)

Boo.

So Blogger made me log in with my Google account now? And now Blogger is in Chinese. And there's no English option. Not that I don't know how to read a lot of this anyway but goddamn! I'd rather have it English kthnx.

Anyway, I've sort of fallen behind on the updating, but here's a few things I have lying around on Photobucket:

More to come once I start sorting and uploading.

Wow, I can see Blogspot again.

Home for the holidays, and no more censored Chinese internet, so it's time to update this puppy.

Spencer Holden, my psychokenetic prosecutor. He's kind of a stick-in-the-mud. I love him.

Spence and his little sister, Nazaree, who is a cheerful little airhead who knits.

Phoebe and Preston. They're a rediculously pretty couple.

My girls in the Imber RP that I'm doing with Lyndz, Yvie, and Tessa. From left to right: Marsailles, Rowena, Phoebe, and Nazaree.

Mia taunts Spence with babytalk. Technically, he's her boss, but Mia likes to spit in the eye of authority.

Oran Dwyer, mute mob enforcer. He's Irish. Yum.

Phoebe wouldn't do this to Preston, but since she and Seraphyn are both bi (and hot), I couldn't resist drawing it.

That's all for now. More to come soon.

Evil is delicious.

RP-related arts.

Johnny, cute police boy who still lives with his mom:

Jiang and Rudu. She's a were-binturong. They drop on their prey.

I got to unleash my serial killer recently, which makes me insanely happy because Kendrick is FUN to play. He's 100% pure id.

Life is Wonderful

So the long absence is not due to laziness or a creative block but the fact that I moved to a different country. Namely, China. And China's internet blocks access to Blogspot about 90% of the time, and until a couple of days ago, I didn't own a scanner.

SO IT'S NOT MY FAULT, MKAY? Mkay.

Anyway, here's some of the junk I've been filling up my sketchbook with since I arrived here two months ago.
